Family Deer Hunts at Discounted Prices!

Treat your family to a once in a lifetime experience or begin a family tradition by booking a family deer hunt at White Oak Plantation.  For 26 years White Oak's emphasis has been on producing quality whitetail deer for the serious hunter, and, at the same time, providing a safe environment for families, women and young hunters to enjoy a truly quailty deer hunting experience.

With many covered, all weather stands that will accommodate two people, parents or grandparents may sit with their youth, or husband and wife may experience a hunt together.  For safety's sake, only one gun in the stand at a time.  Alabama has no regulations as to the age at which a young person may begin to hunt.  White Oak leaves that decision to the family to decide when the youth is old enough to enjoy sitting in a deer stand for several hours.  We strongly urge families to have their youth take a Hunter's Safety Course. A hunting license is not required until the youth reaches the age of 16 and at that time they will be required to have a Hunter's Safety Certificate to get their license.   Anyone whose birthday is after August 1, 1977 is required to have a Hunter's Safety Certificate to receive an Alabama license.  

Family Deer Hunts -  2008 Rates and Dates

Two, three and four day family deer hunts are scheduled at Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's holidays to coincide with school holidays.  One person will pay full price, family members who are 16 and older receive a 30% discount, and family members 15 and under receive a 50% discount. Non-hunting family members are $150.00 per day, youths 10 and under are $75.00 per day. No charge for children under 4.

 Family Hunts include lodging in large rooms, which will accommodate up to 5 people, with private baths, all meals, daily maid service, guides, field transportation, dressing and packaging the deer.

One on One Personal Guides            $150.00 per day
(Personal guides have to be arranged prior to arrival.  Personal guides cannot be guaranteed after arrival)
