Click for Larger ViewSpring turkey hunting at White Oak may become addictive. Many turkey hunters have fallen prey to this addiction and can't resist the allure of Spring and the challenge of calling in yet another big gobbler.

While on a three or four day turkey hunt, turkey hunters may take two gobblers, no jakes or hens. Alabama allows only one gobbler each day per turkey hunter, five total per season.

Your turkey hunting package includes all meals, lodging, daily maid service, one on one guides, field transportation and game preparation.  All of our guides are experienced woodsmen and understand the lay of the White Oak land. They will get you in the vicinity of a gobbler and then call it in for you. If you prefer, of course, you may do your own turkey calling.

Click for Larger ViewThere are typically two turkey hunts per day seven days a week. Turkey hunters are in the woods well before dawn to listen for the first turkey gobble and usually return before noon, although that could vary depending on the turkey.

Click for Larger ViewAs each turkey hunter returns to the lodge with either a good turkey or a good turkey hunting story, a warm, delicious meal will be offered. After a well deserved rest, turkey hunters return to the woods for an afternoon hunt. If a turkey was harvested during the morning turkey hunt, there is always the opportunity to roost a turkey for the next morning's turkey hunt or fish for largemouth Florida bass and bream in the stocked lakes and ponds.
